Returns

Faulty goods.

If goods develop a fault within 6 months from the date of receipt, we will exchange or repair the product provided the fault has occurred due to general wear and tear or, of course, if there has been a product part failure.  Unfortunately, ‘general wear and tear’  doesn’t include products that have been … chewed on by puppies, drawn on by children, worn in the sea or river, scratched at by claws, in contact with flea treatment and or generally not treated with due care and attention.

Please visit our enquiries and returns pages in order to process a return.

Bespoke Orders – Please note:  that unless faulty we cannot process a return for a bespoke order. A bespoke order is an order with measurements outside the ones on this site. Because these are unusual measurements we are not likely to be able to resell that item.

  1. This is , I think,is the third of these that I have purchased and find them to be hard wearing and comfortable for the dog. Needed a replacement ,not due to wear, but lost one.

  2. Lovely soft leather

  3. We Wanted a collar for our Blue Pocket Bully, but not a big gaudy thing. The collar we bought is high quality a great colour really looks the part and is classy. When ever Riddick is out people ask about it. Simple and stylish just what we were after 😁

Measuring your dog

sizing guide

How to measure your dog for fitting a padded leather dog collar

These collars are handmade to your dog’s neck size and an additional 4 inches is added to the finished collar to allow for adjustment to ensure a comfortable fit for your dog.

Please take care when choosing the width of your dog’s collar. Our collars are available in 3 width sizes of 3/4″, 1″ , and 1 1/4 ” wide (this being a very wide collar).

Measuring Guide

All dogs vary in size and even between breeds.  Here is a guide to measuring your dog for a perfect fit of their collar.

Please note that these collars may not be suitable for toy breeds or smaller breeds as the padded leather may be too heavy for their neck. In these instances our puppy range of soft cowhide collars are a better choice.

HOW TO MEASURE
  • Ideally you will need a flexible tape measure, but you could use a piece of string and then measure that.
  • Place around your dogs neck, where the collar would naturally sit.
  • You are looking for a snug fit not a tight one. This will give you the length you require.
  • If the measurement is between sizes then opt for the larger size.

PLEASE MEASURE FOR YOUR DOG CAREFULLY AS THESE COLLARS ARE MADE TO ORDER.

If you are unsure please get in touch by clicking the help icon at the bottom of the page and we will be happy to advise.

NOTE: TAKE OFF THESE COLLARS WHEN YOUR DOG SWIMS TO PROTECT THE LEATHER
