Soft padded collars for the larger puppy and smaller dogs.
We are delighted to bring you this exclusive range of soft leather puppy collars that are handmade to order for us by a family run saddlery in England. The softest, durable cowhide leather is used for both the outside and inside (unlike the normal padded collars that use a more durable and thicker shoulder hide on the outside), making these collars ideal for delicate puppy necks and also for smaller dogs.
They are available in a range of sizes to suit your growing puppy or smaller dog and come in a variety of great colour choices.
Measuring for puppy collars
It is important that you choose the right size of collar for your dog.
These collars are handmade to your dog’s neck size.
How to measure
Using a flexible tape measure*, measure the circumference of your dog’s neck where the collar is normally worn. The tape measure should fit comfortably around the neck without being too lapse or too tight – it should be snug but a comfortable fit. The measurement you get is the “neck size” to use when ordering collars. Please choose the EXACT CIRCUMFERENCE of your dog’s neck NOT the total length of the collar you require.
(* please note that if you don’t have a flexible tape measure you can use a piece of string/ribbon or similar to measure your dog’s neck and then measure this against a tape/ruler)
Each collar is made from two layers of gorgeously soft cowhide which are machine stitched together. They are then securely riveted around strong chromed steel fittings.
Our puppy collars can also be used for smaller breeds as they are soft and light.

DOG ID TAG
The “Talk to the Paw” and “Have your people call my people” ID tag makes the perfect gift for a cheeky dog.
The solid dog ID tags are made from silver-plated brass.
The tag is 28mm in diameter and 2mm in width. (Please note that that this size could be too large for tiny dogs and pups)
Please note the tags need to be engraved at an engravers store (key cutters).
If using as an ID tag in the UK, the Control of Dogs Order 1992 states that any dog in a public place must wear a collar or engraved tag with the name and address (including postcode) of the owner.

Well made collar. Looks good and our dog finds it comfortable. Very happy with my purchase and would buy again
Very nice soft leather collar. A bit wider than I was expecting but that wasn’t a problem. We had obviously measured badly as it was way too big for our puppy but we added 2 more holes so that it fitted him (although that meant that there was a long end which we had to keep down with an elastic band as the ring holding it was fixed). So measure carefully!!
Hi Geraldine. Thanks for your review. If you do get the measurements wrong, we can always alter the collar or offer a return and refund and you can then buy the correct one with new measurements. I hope the collar is OK for your puppy and that they will soon grow into it?
Good quality padded collar, looks good and it is comfortable for our small dog. He has a sensitive throat so this collar is ideal for him.
