The Sherpa Fleece Neutral Geo Slumber Bed by Danish Design is built for dogs who like to curl up against something. Its high sides act as a natural headrest, while the soft knitted sherpa fleece interior gives the kind of fluffy, snuggly sleeping surface that encourages dogs to settle properly rather than shift around all night.

The neutral geometric pattern is berber-inspired — clean lines in muted, modern tones — so it sits comfortably in a kitchen, living room or bedroom without shouting “dog bed.”

Made in the UK with thoughtfully chosen materials

Danish Design knit the fleece in the UK, and the bed is filled with Ecoflex — a hypoallergenic, chemical-free filling made largely from recycled fibres. Ecoflex has an “S”-shaped fibre structure that recovers its shape after your dog gets up, so the bed keeps its form rather than flattening out within a few months.

The inner mattress uses recycled PET flake (made from recycled plastic bottles) blended with a soft polyester fibre filling. Both fillings are fire-retardant to British Standard 5852.

Removable, washable mattress

The mattress lifts out for cleaning. Hand-washing is recommended, but it will also go through a machine on a cool wash if your machine is large enough. The outer bed can be wiped clean or hand-washed as needed. Polyester fibre doesn’t absorb water, so drying time is short if you leave it somewhere warm.

Choosing the right size

Measure your dog from nose to base of tail when they’re stretched out, then add a few centimetres of breathing room. If they sleep curled up, choose by their preferred sleeping shape rather than their full length.

Who it suits

Dogs who like to rest their head on something while they sleep — most do. The high-sided design also gives nervous or anxious dogs a sense of being held, which can help with settling. The neutral palette makes it a good choice for owners who’d rather their dog’s bed didn’t dominate the room.

Wipe clean or hand-wash the outer bed as needed. Mattress is removable — hand wash recommended, machine wash on cool if it fits. Air dry.

What’s actually in this bed:
