The Chelsea is a warm, beautiful bed that anxious and comfort-seeking dogs will claim as their own from the moment it arrives. Rich cocoa and coffee cream faux fur — soft, tonal and deeply stuffed — covers every surface inside and out, wrapping your dog in the gentle enclosed warmth that helps restless or nervous dogs finally switch off and sleep. Care instructions
Can be washed in the machine on a 30 degree delicates wash and spin. Once out of the machine give the bed a good shake and dry naturally. Manipulate the stuffing whilst drying, every few hours. Give the bed a good shake once dry.
They will stay fabulously soft time after time.
These beds should be kept away from heat. Do not tumble dry.
Can be dry cleaned. For larger beds we recommend dry cleaning.

Donut bed filling - good to know!
The beds are deeply stuffed. This means they are suitable for all dogs. With use, the padding will sink slightly as it becomes more compressed. For this reason the beds arrive very full to counteract this and always provide a deeply stuffed and comfortable bed. A shake will fluff the bed up every now and again and after washing. If your dog is light, you may want to press the bed down slightly so they sink in quicker. Alternatively if you want it much more "squidgy" rather than stuffed, let us know in a note at checkout. The beds are made to order so we can take out some stuffing if required.
The Chelsea Supreme Faux Fur Calming Donut Dog Bed is designed by The Stylish Dog Company — one of the most distinctive colours in the range. A rich, warm mix of cocoa brown and coffee cream with a softly blurred stripe that fades gradually between tones rather than cutting sharply from one to the other. As the bed is made up, the stripe becomes more of a pooling of colour — patches of deep cocoa merging into creamy warmth, creating a fur that reads as a beautiful tonal brown overall. Available in five sizes XS to XL.
The faux fur pile is approximately 2.5cm long and covers both the interior sleeping area and the raised bolster sides — every surface your dog touches is the same sumptuous Chelsea fur. Most dog beds use a cheaper outer fabric and only line the inside in plush material. On this bed, the fur runs all the way around, so whether your dog curls tight inside or rests their head over the rim, they are always in contact with the same deep, soft pile.
The well-stuffed raised sides create the enclosed nest shape that naturally calms anxious and restless dogs. The non-slip faux suede base is colour-matched to the Chelsea tones and keeps the bed firmly placed on hard floors. The whole aesthetic is considered — this is a bed that looks as good in your home as it feels to your dog.
Does a calming donut bed help with anxiety? The shape replicates the security dogs experience sleeping curled against their mother and litter mates. The 360-degree bolster creates gentle enclosure — not confinement — which supports slower breathing and deeper, more restorative sleep. Rescue dogs, puppies and dogs with noise or separation anxiety respond particularly well once the bed becomes their established safe space.
What size Chelsea bed do I need? XS (50cm) for toy breeds — Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier, Mini Dachshund. S (60cm) for small dogs up to around 10kg — Jack Russell, Pug, Westie, Cairn Terrier, King Charles Spaniel. M (70cm) for Beagles, Cocker Spaniels and French Bulldogs. L (80cm) for medium to large dogs including smaller Labradors and Collies. XL (100cm) for larger dogs. Always measure your dog curled up and allow for the bolster sides.
Is it machine washable? Yes — the whole bed washes at 30 degrees on a cool delicate cycle. Dry naturally away from heat, manipulate the stuffing as it dries, give it a shake when done. Do not tumble dry. It comes back soft and full every time.
A matching Chelsea faux fur blanket is available separately — use it as an extra layer in the bed or drape it over the sofa for a coordinated look that your dog will gravitate toward wherever they settle.
