These 5/8th” (16mm) leads are super soft and extremely lightweight making them perfect for smaller delicate breeds or puppies where weighty accessories can be a problem. We have a vast spectrum of beautiful leathers so whether you favour muted and earthly tones or vibrant and bold colours we have something for you.
The inner handle padding is made of cream leather and matches the small puppy leather collars.

This collar is made in an English saddlery using cow shoulder leather and padded to your dog's exact neck size. Most competitors use softer leather and generic S/M/L sizing. This is a fundamentally different product: heavier duty, made to last, and genuinely bespoke in fit.
Brass or chrome. Both are strong and hardwearing. Brass suits warmer coat colours; chrome suits cooler tones.
Measure the circumference of the neck where the collar sits — snug but comfortable. Order that exact size. The collar is made with 5 holes, the middle hole matching your measurement, giving natural adjustment either side.

How to measure your dog for fitting a soft padded leather dog collar
It is important that you choose the right size of collar for your dog.
These collars are handmade to your dog's neck size.
Using a flexible tape measure*, measure the circumference of your dog's neck where the collar is normally worn. The tape measure should fit comfortably around the neck without being too lapse or too tight – it should be snug but a comfortable fit. The measurement you get is the "neck size" to use when ordering collars. Please choose the EXACT CIRCUMFERENCE of your dog's neck NOT the total length of the collar you require.
(* please note that if you don't have a flexible tape measure you can use a piece of string/ribbon or similar to measure your dog's neck and then measure this against a tape/ruler)
Each collar is made from two layers of gorgeously soft cowhide which are machine stitched together. They are then securely riveted around strong chromed steel fittings.
Our puppy collars can also be used for smaller breeds as they are soft and light.
