Should my dog wear a coat? The short answer is “Yes!” Dogs get cold too and they lose heat very quickly if they stop moving. Some dogs though need a coat more than others. See our article on how to choose a coat.

Dogs with an undercoat

Dogs who have an undercoat are more equipped for Winter, however, if they are on a lead and restricted from moving quickly they too will start to get cold, if this is a regular pattern on walks, they will also need a coat.
