The Doodlebone® Originals Slip Lead is a handy and versatile dog lead that slips on and off very quickly without the need for a clip. It’s perfect for training dogs that are already used to a lead to walk calmly without straining.
It’s a super-strong slip lead for dogs and puppies! Its solid internal core is encased in tough nylon which has a woven reflective strip to help you and your dog stay safe when out in the dark. Reinforced stitching ensures extra strength and the smart leather trimming is a nice touch.
At 150cm long, the lead has enough give to let your dog explore if you want them to, yet not too long to be unwieldy.
The Slip lead slips over the dog’s head and has a safety stopper. Super long and strong!

A slip lead can be a very useful and quick solution if you are simply moving your dog from one place to the other, for example from the car to the park for a run off lead. A slip lead can also be useful for training as you have more control over your dog. However, please use a slip lead correctly, it should not be worn around the dog’s throat, which would be very uncomfortable for the dog (as with anything around his throat) if the dog pulls, it should be worn high on the neck, if the dog pulls (pulling the lead down to his throat, stop walking, move the slip lead back up just behind the ears and start walking again.
