Danish Design has been making dog beds in Leeds, Yorkshire since 1981. The Colour Block range is designed for owners who want a high quality, practical bed without a busy pattern or print — just strong, simple colour blocking in a grey and patterned design that works with almost any interior. The bed construction is the same as the rest of the Danish Design Slumber range: high padded bolster walls, a removable central mattress, and 100% recycled PET fibre filling throughout.

The filling is fire retardant to British Standard 5852. Both the bed and the mattress are made using 100% recycled PET fibre — produced from recycled plastic bottles at Danish Design’s Leeds factory. The polyester filling does not absorb water, so the bed dries quickly after washing.

Is the Colour Block Steel bed machine washable?
Yes. The whole bed can be machine washed. The central mattress is also removable for quicker cleaning. After washing, the bold colour block design retains its contrast and clarity.

What sizes are available?
The Colour Block Steel bed comes in three sizes: Small 24″ (61cm), Medium 30″ (76cm) and Large 35″ (89cm). The 24″ suits Cocker Spaniels, Beagles and smaller breeds. The 30″ works for Springer Spaniels and Border Collies. The 35″ fits Labradors, Retrievers and similar large breeds.
