The Laura Ashley Thistle Patchwork Lounger Dog Bed by Danish Design is a padded bolster cushion bed featuring iconic prints from the Laura Ashley archive — a beautiful combination of the Rosemore floral on 100% cotton and sumptuous navy cord, made in the UK and filled with recycled fibre. A bed that looks as considered as anything in your home.

The Rosemore design — inspired by a painted antique artwork from the Laura Ashley archive featuring roses, convolvulus and strawberries — is combined here with a deep navy cord panel to create a bed with a genuinely refined appearance. Made at Danish Design’s Leeds factory, this is part of the Laura Ashley x Danish Design collection: the whole range is made in the UK and filled with super-soft thermal fibre containing recycled fibres from plastic bottles.

The Lounger has a three-sided bolster construction with a padded base cushion, giving dogs a raised rim to rest against while still having a generous flat lying area. The cover is removable and machine washable. Available in Small, Medium and Large.

Yes. The cover is removable and washable. Air dry or tumble on a low heat to preserve the fabric and print quality. The base cushion can also be removed for washing if needed.

What size should I choose?
The Small (S 55x45x14cm) suits Cocker Spaniels, Miniature Schnauzers and smaller breeds. The Medium (M 65x55x18cm) is ideal for Springer Spaniels, Whippets and medium dogs. The Large (L 80x70x20cm) fits Labradors, Retrievers and large breeds comfortably.

What is the difference between the Lounger and the Duvet?
The Lounger has three padded sides providing a sense of enclosure and something to rest against — ideal for dogs that like to curl up or lean against a side. The Duvet is a flat generously padded cushion with no sides — better for dogs that like to fully sprawl out. Both use the same Laura Ashley fabric.
