The Ivory Softee is the bed anxious, sensitive and snuggly dogs instinctively settle into. Covered in chinchilla-soft ivory faux fur inside and out, the deeply stuffed raised sides wrap gently around your dog as they sleep — giving them that safe, enclosed feeling that tells a worried mind it’s finally time to rest. Care instructions
Can be washed in the machine on a 30 degree delicates wash and spin. Once out of the machine give the bed a good shake and dry naturally. Manipulate the stuffing whilst drying, every few hours. Give the bed a good shake once dry.
They will stay fabulously soft time after time.
These beds should be kept away from heat. Do not tumble dry.
Can be dry cleaned. For larger beds we recommend dry cleaning.

Donut bed filling - good to know!
The beds are deeply stuffed. This means they are suitable for all dogs. With use, the padding will sink slightly as it becomes more compressed. For this reason the beds arrive very full to counteract this and always provide a deeply stuffed and comfortable bed. A shake will fluff the bed up every now and again and after washing. If your dog is light, you may want to press the bed down slightly so they sink in quicker. Alternatively if you want it much more "squidgy" rather than stuffed, let us know in a note at checkout. The beds are made to order so we can take out some stuffing if required.
The Ivory Softee Supreme Faux Fur Calming Donut Dog Bed is designed by The Stylish Dog Company — a pure ivory, chinchilla-soft bed made to give anxious, restless or simply comfort-loving dogs a place they will genuinely never want to leave. Available in five sizes from XS through to XL.
The faux fur pile is approximately 2.5cm long — dense, plush and incredibly soft — and covers both the interior sleeping area and the raised sides of the donut. Most dog beds use a cheaper outer fabric with only the inner lining in faux fur. Not this one. Every surface your dog touches is the same sumptuous ivory pile, so whether they curl up deep inside or drape themselves over the bolster sides, they are always surrounded by softness.
The well-stuffed raised sides support your dog’s head and neck naturally as they sleep, creating the enclosed, nest-like feeling that dogs instinctively seek. The non-slip faux suede base keeps the bed firmly in place on any hard floor and is colour-matched to the ivory fur, so the bed looks beautiful from every angle — a piece that genuinely complements your home rather than clashing with it.
Does a calming dog bed actually help with anxiety? The donut shape works by mimicking the security a dog felt sleeping curled against its mother and litter mates. The 360-degree raised rim creates a gentle sense of enclosure without being covered or confined, which encourages slower breathing, lower heart rate and more settled, deeper sleep. What size should I choose? XS (50cm) suits toy breeds — Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier, Mini Dachshund. S (60cm) suits small dogs up to around 10kg — Jack Russell, Pug, Westie, Cairn Terrier, King Charles Spaniel. M (70cm) suits Beagles, Cocker Spaniels and French Bulldogs. L (80cm) suits medium to large dogs including smaller Labradors and Collies. XL (100cm) suits larger dogs. Measure your dog curled up and allow for the cushioned sides.
Is the Ivory bed machine washable? Yes. The whole bed washes at 30 degrees on a cool delicate cycle. Once washed, give it a good shake and dry naturally away from heat — do not tumble dry. Manipulate the stuffing as it dries to keep the fill even, give it a final shake when dry and it comes back beautifully soft every time.
