The 3-in-1 Dog Coat in Black by Danish Design is a three-layer all-weather coat system — waterproof outer shell, soft sherpa fleece inner, and both combined for maximum protection — in a clean, versatile black. Made in the UK by Danish Design, a family-run Yorkshire company producing dog wear since 1981. Black is the most popular colour in the 3-in-1 range and it is easy to see why — it goes with everything, hides everyday marks and looks sharp in any setting.
The outer layer is a waterproof ripstop shell in black. The inner is a soft sherpa fleece that wears as a standalone coat on dry cold days. Both layers attach together via zip and poppers for full waterproof insulated coverage. A harness hole in the back keeps the coat harness-compatible without removal. Available XS to XXXL.
Is the Black 3-in-1 coat waterproof?
Yes. The ripstop outer repels rain and mud splash. Re-proof with DWR spray once a season to maintain peak performance.
Can I use the fleece layer on its own?
Yes — the sherpa fleece inner is a fully standalone coat for dry, cold days.
Does it work with a harness?
Yes. The harness access hole allows lead attachment without removing the coat.
