The Bowmore Navy Deep Dog Cushion by Danish Design is a generously filled flat cushion bed in rich navy — featuring the same premium boucle loop-knit fabric as the Bowmore Slumber Bed, made in the UK and filled with 100% recycled fibre. A deep, spacious bed for dogs who like room to sprawl, with a level of textile quality that stands apart from standard cushion beds.

The Bowmore cushion uses a striking combination: the outer cover is made from a wool-effect brushed check fabric in rich navy tones, while the top surface features the signature boucle loop-knit fabric in a creamy off-white and petrol blue-grey — a material more commonly found in premium upholstered furniture. Made in Leeds by Danish Design — a family-run UK company since 1981 — this bed is part of the Bowmore collection that combines comfort and design in equal measure.

The filling is 100% recycled PET fibre, produced at the Danish Design factory from recycled plastic bottles. Both the deep cushion inner and the cover are made to be washable. Available in Medium and Large.

Is the Bowmore Navy Deep Cushion washable?
Yes. The cover is removable and machine washable. The inner cushion can be hand washed or machine washed on a cool wash. The polyester filling does not absorb water and the bed dries quickly.

What size should I choose?
The Medium (71 x 98cm) suits Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels and medium dogs. The Large (87 x 138cm) comfortably accommodates Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds and large breeds that like to sprawl fully.

Is this suitable for a dog that likes to sprawl rather than curl up?
Yes. The deep cushion design gives maximum floor area for dogs that sleep fully stretched out. Unlike bolster beds, there are no raised sides — giving sprawlers all the room they need.
