The Dog Crate Mattress in Oatmeal by Danish Design is a flat, well-padded crate mat in warm oatmeal — made in the UK and designed as a standalone replacement mattress for dog crates that already have side padding, or as a simple, clean sleeping surface for dogs who prefer a flat mat to a full bedding set. It is also the ideal replacement mat if the floor section of your existing crate bedding set has worn out.

Made at Danish Design’s Leeds factory from soft, durable oatmeal fabric with fire retardant filling to British Standard 5852. The flat profile fits neatly in any standard crate size without bunching or shifting. Machine washable. Available in five sizes matching standard wire crate dimensions.

Is the Oatmeal Crate Mattress washable?
Yes. Machine washable. The oatmeal colour washes clean and holds its colour well through regular use.

What sizes are available?
Five sizes: 18″, 24″, 30″, 36″ and 42″ — matching standard wire crate floor dimensions. Measure your crate floor before ordering to ensure a snug, flat fit.

What is the difference between this and the full Crate Bedding Set?
The full Crate Bedding Set includes both the floor mat and bumper side padding. This standalone mattress is just the floor mat — ideal if you already have bumper padding, want a spare mat in rotation, or simply prefer a more open crate setup.

Is this suitable for a crate or just a standalone bed?
It works in both contexts. Sized to fit standard crate floors, but also works as a flat mat for a puppy pen, under a desk, in a car boot, or anywhere a flat, washable sleeping surface is needed.
