The Flying Birds Cushion Dog Bed by Danish Design x FatFace is a deep flat cushion bed featuring two complementary FatFace bird prints in fresh blue and white tones — made in the UK and filled with 100% recycled fibre from plastic bottles. A flat-format companion to the Flying Birds Slumber Bed, it is ideal for dogs who like to sprawl fully rather than curl up against sides.

Both bird prints are printed on 100% FatFace cotton supporting more sustainable cotton farming. The filling is 100% recycled PET fibre made at Danish Design’s Leeds factory from recycled plastic bottles. The complete bed is made in the UK by a family-run company that has been manufacturing dog beds since 1981.

The cover is removable and machine washable. The deep fill provides a well-padded sleeping surface. Available in two sizes.

Is the Flying Birds Cushion washable?
Yes. The cover removes easily and is machine washable. The inner cushion can be hand washed or machine washed on a cool cycle. The bird prints retain their colour and clarity through regular washing.

What size should I choose?
The Medium suits Cocker Spaniels, Whippets and medium breeds who like to sprawl. The Large is ideal for Labradors, Retrievers and larger dogs. Always measure your dog fully stretched out and choose generously.

What is the difference between this and the Flying Birds Slumber Bed?
The Slumber Bed has high padded bolster sides — ideal for dogs that like to curl up or lean against something. This cushion bed is flat with no sides — better for dogs that sprawl fully. Both use the same FatFace Flying Birds print and the same recycled filling.
