Is the Tweed Coat waterproof?
Tweed is naturally water-resistant — it repels light rain and drizzle well. It is not a fully waterproof shell in the way a ripstop coat is. For sustained heavy rain, pair it with a waterproof outer or switch to the 3-in-1 coat range. For everyday British weather — drizzle, wind and cold — tweed performs excellently.

Is this coat suitable for winter?
Yes. The warm inner lining provides genuine insulation for cold weather. Tweed is also a naturally dense, wind-resistant fabric — it keeps dogs warmer in cold conditions than thinner woven fabrics.
