The Bowmore Sand Deep Dog Cushion by Danish Design is a generously filled flat cushion bed in warm neutral sand tones — featuring the premium boucle loop-knit fabric of the Bowmore collection, made in the UK and filled with 100% recycled fibre. For dogs who like to stretch out fully, this is a deep, spacious bed with a level of textile quality that goes well beyond the ordinary.

The Bowmore Sand cushion pairs a brushed wool-effect check in warm neutral tones — sand, cream and dark highlights — with the signature Bowmore boucle fabric in a creamy off-white and petrol blue-grey loop-knit. Made in Leeds by Danish Design, a family-run UK company since 1981, the Bowmore collection uses fabrics more commonly associated with premium furniture to create dog beds that genuinely complement a well-designed home.

The filling is 100% recycled PET fibre made from recycled plastic bottles. The cover is removable and washable. Available in Medium and Large.

Is the Bowmore Sand Deep Cushion washable?
Yes. The removable cover can be machine washed. The inner cushion can be hand washed or machine washed on a cool wash. The polyester fill does not absorb water and dries quickly.

What size should I choose?
The Medium (71 x 98cm) works for Cocker Spaniels, Whippets, and medium breeds. The Large (87 x 138cm) suits Labradors, Retrievers, Weimaraners and large dogs that love to sprawl.

What is the difference between the Bowmore Sand and Bowmore Navy?
Both use the same boucle mattress fabric and the same construction. The Sand version uses warm neutral tones — lighter, more contemporary in feel. The Navy is richer and more classic. The choice is purely aesthetic: which works better in your home.
