Danish Design has been producing dog beds in Leeds, Yorkshire since 1981. The Neutral Geometric design pairs a bold black-and-cream geometric print with a soft sherpa fleece lining — knitted in the UK — for a bed that feels as good as it looks. It is the kind of bed that disappears into your living room rather than dominating it, while still giving your dog a genuinely comfortable place to sleep.

Every part of the filling — in the padded bolster sides and the central mattress — is made from 100% recycled PET fibre. Danish Design produces this filling in their Leeds factory by shredding plastic bottles, cleansing them, heating the material and processing it through a carding machine to create a soft, thermal, fluffy fibre. The filling is fire retardant to British Standard 5852. The polyester fibre does not absorb water, so the bed dries quickly after washing.

Is the Neutral Geometric Slumber Bed machine washable?
Yes. The complete bed can go in your washing machine. The central mattress is removable for a faster wash when you do not need to clean the whole bed. Because the polyester filling does not retain moisture, drying time is quick — ideal for households where the dog needs their bed back the same day.

What size should I choose?
Five sizes are available. The 18″ suits small breeds including Miniature Dachshunds, Yorkshire Terriers and Chihuahuas. The 24″ is ideal for Cocker Spaniels, Pugs and Beagles. The 30″ works well for Springer Spaniels, Border Collies and medium dogs. The 35″ fits Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Dalmatians and similar large breeds. The 40″ is for very large dogs including Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Weimaraners and Great Danes.

Will the geometric pattern fade after washing?
No. The geometric design is printed on durable fabric and has been tested to withstand repeated machine washing without fading or distorting. The sherpa fleece inner also retains its softness and texture after washing.

Is this bed suitable for older dogs?
Yes. The deep, well-padded bolster sides provide a warm, insulated sleeping space that suits older dogs who feel the cold or who like the security of something to lean against. The base mattress provides cushioning from the floor. If your senior dog has significant joint issues, you may also want to consider a memory foam mattress product alongside this bed.
