The Luxury Puppy Bed — My First Bed — by Danish Design is a soft, snuggly first bed for new puppies, made in the UK with gentle materials chosen for young, sensitive dogs. Small enough to feel enclosed and secure, warm enough to replace the comfort of their litter, and fully washable for the inevitable early-life accidents.

Danish Design has been making dog beds in Leeds, Yorkshire since 1981. The Luxury Puppy Bed is designed with one thing in mind: helping a new puppy settle into their first home. The soft, plush fabric and enclosed shape mimic the warmth and security of a nest, which is exactly what most puppies need in their first nights away from their mother and litter. The filling is fire retardant to British Standard 5852.

The bed is fully washable — essential for a puppy bed. Available in a choice of colours.

Is the Luxury Puppy Bed washable?
Yes. The whole bed is machine washable. Given the nature of puppyhood — accidents, chewing, muddy paws — being able to wash the entire bed easily is essential, and this bed is designed for exactly that.

At what age will my puppy outgrow this bed?
The Luxury Puppy Bed is designed for very young puppies and small breeds. Most medium to large breed puppies will outgrow it within the first few months as they grow rapidly. It is an ideal first bed for the settling-in period, after which you can graduate to one of the larger Danish Design slumber or cushion beds.

Is this suitable for small adult dogs too?
Yes. Small breeds including Chihuahuas, Miniature Dachshunds, Yorkshire Terriers and similar dogs may use this bed comfortably into adulthood. The enclosed, cosy feel suits dogs that like to feel wrapped and secure.
